Hi there!
I’m Natsuki from Givery and in charge of hiring engineers.
If you are considering a job change, I think it’s important to find a company where you genuinely want to "work for a long time." From my perspective in HR, Givery provides a great working environment for engineers, and I feel it’s wonderful✨
Today, I would like to introduce the kind of environment in which engineers work here⭐
1) Work Anywhere, Collaborate Everywhere 🌎
At Givery, we believe great work happens when you have the flexibility to choose where you thrive. Whether you prefer the buzz of our Shibuya office, the comfort of your home, or a new destination, our work environment empowers you to work in a way that suits your lifestyle.
With a team of engineers from over 20 countries, we foster a culture of collaboration that spans the globe. From remote work opportunities to dynamic team projects, we provide the flexibility and support growth, creativity, and connection.
2) Engineers from Big Tech (GAFAM) are on board!
Givery has many highly skilled engineers, and we even have engineers from Google and Amazon working here✨.
Not only can you learn technical skills from them, but you can also grow your skills as a professional by understanding their approach to team building in large companies and their attitudes toward products. It’s an environment that fosters both engineering and professional development🏢
3) Rich Communication Even Remotely 👫
When many people are working remotely, it’s often thought that communication might be difficult. However, at Givery, we have various initiatives in place that allow for rich communication in the workplace👏
● Monthly Pizza Party 🍕
● Bi-weekly 1-on-1s
● Daily Sync-up Meetings
These ensure that there is time to connect with team members every day 🕒
We believe that communication is essential for building a good team and developing better products.

4) The Spirit of Give & Give 🎁
I think you have heard the term Give & Take, but Give & Give might be new to you.
Give & Give is the idea that "those who continue to give more to others than they receive, and who can give selflessly, are the ones who gain trust and popularity, and can truly provide value to customers and society."
Those who embody the spirit of "Give & Give" and continue to act are called "Givers."
The concept is that "by always taking the initiative to act and being a presence that can give to others, we enrich others, enrich our surroundings, and ultimately, we also become enriched."
This mindset is deeply ingrained in our company, and there are many employees who "do things for others" and "immediately help those in need," creating a fantastic team atmosphere 🥰.
As a recruiter, I am always greatly supported by the engineers!
5) Flat Company Culture 👭
Members who share the same vision of "Give & Give" come together, regardless of age, nationality, gender, or any other attributes 🌎
Length of service or job title has no bearing on evaluation or opportunities for contribution. Each individual is valued for their ability to demonstrate their worth ✨
Additionally, there is a practice called "Give-Thanks," where employees send messages of appreciation and praise to each other for actions that align with our guiding principles.
At the beginning of each month, we hold a company-wide Zoom meeting, and we also have a company-wide general meeting every six months. The environment is set up for learning, with close proximity to management and department heads 🙆
At each general meeting, several engineers are recognized, providing a wonderful opportunity for their daily contributions to be acknowledged 👏
Moreover, there are ample opportunities for career advancement, such as foreign engineers in their second year of employment serving as technical executive officers 🎉
While Japanese companies are often perceived as having a seniority-based system, Givery values the contributions of each individual!
