A youth volunteers initiated project with Blossom World Society: Cycle & Connect's aim is to get youth to head to the outdoors to exercise, bond and have fun with their peers. This project gets youth to go on a bicycle trail in a team of four to five people, where there are stations and tasks for them to complete and win prizes at the end of the trail. I was the programme lead and had to design activites/games suitable for youth aged 17 to 29 years old. The requirements of the games/activities (given by myself) were that it had to involve interacting with their teammates (bonding), move their bodies or use their head (exercise) and last but not least, fun. At the end of the trail, my team recieved positive feedback on the games/activities of the trail. Majority said they would participate a similar activity like this in the future should the programme be similar. These feedback boosted my confidence and increased my interest in creating and developing programme(s) that will benefit and advocate positive values onto youths.
