It is a collaborative project with NAFA and Asian Journey. For this project, the team went to Manila, the Philippines for a study trip on urbanization and the slum community. We went to several slums to study how they thrive in the urbanization age. We also witness the impact of plastic have on the people and the community. At the end of the project, we shared what we have learned during the trip and showcased the video footages from the different group. I was one of the panelists of the panel discussion. The event ended with a workshop on recycling old clothes to make tote bags and so on to educate less waste, a terrarium workshop to understand how the ecosystem works. The event also featured an installation art made with plastics to show how much plastic we are making each day and the effects of it to the environment.
