Project Leader for value Engineering cost saving projects
This is the internal project implemented in AkzoNobel, the aim is to achieve the cost saving for the raw material we buy from suppliers. I was the Project Leader for this project and we work cross-function with R&D, supply planning, sales and marketing and production, to maximize the saving and ensure the good quality of our finish products. This Project last for 1 year and from the idea initialization until the saving realized, every months we had 2 minutes to follow up the issues and update the progress for this project, at end of year 2018, we were able to achieve the cost saving more than 20%.
