Steampunk Christmas Ball h.NaotoXLega
I was the Senior Level Event and PR Coordinator for this event. Press Release About the Concept America and Europe both have long standing histories of Christmas traditions, one of the most popular being Christmas Balls. While Japan on the other hand doesn’t have such traditions for Christmas, but it does stand as one the world’s leading fashion capitals. With many internationally popular designers such as h.NAOTO, who took over the visual kei, Lolita, and gothic theme in Japan. And, with his recent launch of h.NAOTO STEAM is leading the Steampunk movement. As Steampunk is blend of American and European Victorian grace mixed with futuristic steam technology, its only fitting to hold a Christmas Steampunk Inspired Ball and who better collaborate with than h.NAOTO. This event aims to not only bring Steampunk lovers together for a fun night out, but also bring back fashion-based events to Roppongi and introduce Steampunk to people who are unaware of it. Naturally everyone can enjoy dressing up and going out, but in Japan there are very few chances to wear formal attire so our ball gives people the chance to experience a romantic dance just like the ones in their favorite fairy tales. The dress code is Steampunk or formal so that everyone who wishes to join can come dressed in his or her own best fashion. Our Christmas Steam Ball is spreading fashion and tradition with an exciting night of wonderment awaiting our guest. LEG.A offers the perfect mixture of romance and elegance along with friendly staff and easy accessibility as its only a 2min walk from exit 7 of Roppongi Station making the perfect venue of choice. Since balls are social events this a great chance for fashion lovers together, mingle, make new friends, and even party with h.NOATO and his staff. In keeping with formal ball traditions we have live performances scheduled to enchant and memorize our guest. We are very proud to announce that Strange Artifact and the Queen of the Ball herself, Fenix D’Joan will be performing along with other entertainers. Plus h.NAOTO’s Steam Night Shop will be open all night so that guest can buy limited edition Steampunk items! That can be cloaked for free all throughout the night. This year will be our first Christmas Steam Ball, but expect to continue to hold one every year to create Japan’s very own unique Christmas tradition.
