I have been interested in robots since I was a child, and majored in mechanical engineering at Pune University, studying robotics and design software using mechanical processes.
This robot system is used for welding of the track frames of the excavator machines.
This pneumatic cylinder is prepared by using bicycle pump. A Double-acting cylinder (DAC) use the force of air to move in both extend and retract strokes. They have two ports to allow air in, one for outstroke and one for instroke.
The device is placed across drain so that only water flow through lower grids, waste like bottle, etc. floating in drain are lifted by teeth which is connected to chain. This chain is attached by gear driven by motor. when motor runs the chain starts to circulate making teeth to lift up. The waste material are lifted by teeth and are stored in waste storage tank.

The name of this project is "Automatic Roti (Chapati) Making System". The team is 4 people and I am the leader of this team. The main purpose of this project is not only to make roti hygienic, but also to increase production rate and reduce manual steps.
