Master Builders Association Malaysia Office Competition Project
This is the first competition project I worked on in my first professional work experience in architecture. In this competition project, I did a program study to test various programmatic organizations for the building. I am also in charge of modeling the building’s structure and facade, and incorporating plants and furniture with Rhino. In addition, I have produced exterior and interior renderings with V-Ray, and generated the site plan, elevations, and section with Rhino and Illustrator. The principal feature of the design is its louvered facade that varies in density on each of the four sides, optimized for the amount of sunlight admitted to the interior. Facilitating energy efficiency in the tropical climate of Malaysia, the design incorporates air funnels and an open garden floor to maximize air flow.
