At Tribeat, we’re a team of about 60 members today.
Among them, the Tech Division is the largest, with nearly half the company belonging to it. The number of employees has been steadily growing year by year, giving the division both greater depth and diversity.
Flexible Workstyles
Many members balance childcare and work, and there’s even a Slack channel called #雑談_子育て(Childcare) where people share family moments and events.
We operate on a hybrid model, with Tech members coming into the office at least three times a week. The timing is flexible—adjusted according to project progress and team coordination—so individuals can balance their own schedule with the team’s needs.
Workload & Balance
As of April 2025, the average monthly overtime was around 10 hours. Naturally, this varies depending on the project and responsibilities, but as an organization, we’re committed to preventing overload from falling on specific members. That’s why we focus on knowledge sharing and reducing single-person dependency.
Diversity & Global Culture
In recent years, we’ve welcomed more international members, bringing new perspectives and cultures into the workplace. Casual conversations often lead to eye-opening insights, and global exchanges—like enjoying souvenirs brought from abroad—have brought a refreshing dynamic to our culture.
Growth & Learning Support
We actively support continuous learning through:
- Book Purchases: The company covers costs for business and technical books upon request.
- Certifications: Exam fees are subsidized, regardless of pass or fail, with a bonus given upon passing.
- AWS Learning: Many members pursue AWS certifications, supported by access to an in-house AWS sandbox environment.
Tech Environment
We’re proactively adopting generative AI tools:
- GitHub Copilot licenses provided to anyone who wants them
- Experimental projects using Cline + AWS Bedrock
- From FY2025, adoption of Snyk to advance security-conscious development and “shift-left” practices
Team Connection & Culture
We put emphasis on strengthening team bonds through various initiatives:
- Day One Lunch: Every new member has a 1-on-1 lunch with their leader to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Quarterly Retrospectives: Followed by team dinners.
- Monthly Company Meetings: Wrapped up with company-sponsored lunches to encourage cross-team交流.
Within the Tech Division, we also hold a monthly all-hands called “tri catch”, where we share technical updates, project knowledge, and run workshops for team-building.
On top of that, voluntary reading groups are active, allowing members to dive into the same book together and deepen knowledge collectively.
Since 2024, members have also been attending AWS re:Invent in person, broadening horizons and engaging with the global tech community.
