LINE Fukuoka "Best Workplace"

Yusuke Suzuki (right) Director & COO of LINE Fukuoka collecting the award.

On the 19th of June Fukuoka was named the “Best Workplace in Fukuoka 2019” by Randstad. The award is an endorsement of all the hard work of every LINER to create a desirable place to work.

The award comes of the back of the “employer brand research” survey carried out by Randstad (one of the world’s largest staffing firms). Initially started in Belgium in 2000 the survey now looks at 30 different countries and regions and this is the 8th time it has conducted the survey in Japan. However this was the first time conducting the survey in Fukuoka (and its surrounding areas) and respondents were asked about their impressions of businesses specifically mentioning:

・Latest technologies
・Stimulating work
・Career progression
・Work-life balance
・Pleasant work atmosphere

Representative Director/President: Noritaka Ochiai said:

“I'm proud to accept this honor on behalf of LINE Fukuoka. 6 years have passed since LINE Fukuoka was established in Fukuoka as LINE's second location in Japan. Even as we've worked together with LINE Corporation to grow LINE's business, we have also taken advantage of our position in Fukuoka to create new value in the area. I would like to thank our innovative staff and their families, as well as everyone who uses our services and the partner companies and local government that continue to support us. We will continue to do our best to be worthy of this high acclaim.”
