リポタンパク質（lipoprotein）はタンパク質と脂質でできた粒子で、血流中を移動してさまざまな脂質を運搬する役割を担っています。ただ、血液中の濃度が高すぎる状態が続くとアテローム性動脈硬化症（atherosclerosis）などの病気を引き起こしてしまうため、慎重に調整しておく必要があります。今回はこのタンパク質に関するお話です。
