カオマンガイ/ Khao Man Gai
毎回食べ物の話ばかりですが、、
トラベロカ・オフィスのある六本木にはバラエティに富んだ各国料理のレストランがあるので、日々のランチには困りません。
中華、ブラジル、イタリア、インド、アラビア、ベトナム、アメリカ、タイ、韓国（順不同）、もちろん焼肉、定食、天ぷら、寿司、ラーメン、丼物、弁当などなど。
トラベロカはインドネシアの会社なので、インドネシア料理のレストランにも行きました。ナシゴレンが有名でしょうか。
先日、近所のお気に入りのタイレストランでチームランチをしました（写真）。個人的にパッタイとカオマンガイが大好きなので、選択肢はだいたいどちらかになります。
カオマンガイの意味が気になったので、ちょっと調べてみました。

Our Traveloka office is located in Roppongi, where we are spoiled for choice with a huge variety of international cuisines for lunch every day! We have Chinese, Brazilian, Italian, Indian, Arabic, Vietnamese, American, Thai, Korean... and of course, Japanese favorites like Yakiniku, Teishoku, Tempura, Sushi, Ramen, Donburi, and Bento boxes.
Since Traveloka is an Indonesian company, I’ve also visited an Indonesian restaurant nearby—Nasi Goreng is probably the most famous dish, right?
The other day, we had a team lunch at my favorite Thai restaurant in the neighborhood (see photo!). I personally love Pad Thai and Khao Man Gai, so my choice almost always falls on one of those two.
I was curious about the meaning of "Khao Man Gai," so I looked it up:
- Khao = Rice
- Man = Chicken fat
- Gai = Chicken
