3D Environment and Props Artist
Dear Hiring Team,
My name is Marcos Domenech
I bring over 20 years of experience in both traditional and digital arts, with a long-standing career in video game development and a background in television commercial production. Currently, I serve as a Principal Prop Artist at PUBG Amsterdam, working remotely from Japan on the project Black Budget.
My core strengths include developing efficient workflows and pipelines for environment and prop asset creation, as well as collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Art Direction, Tech Art, Environment Art, Level Design, and Narrative. I’m passionate about building tools and documentation that support production, and I’ve taken an active role in mentoring artists and managing outsourcing — from asset requests and feedback to final reviews.
Key areas of expertise:
High/low-res modeling, texturing, lighting, and composition
Art direction and visual storytelling
Team mentorship and cross-discipline collaboration
Providing artistic direction and technical feedback to both internal teams and external outsourcing vendors to ensure visual consistency and production quality
Remote work across time zones with flexible scheduling
I recently relocated to Japan with my family and continue to work effectively with international teams. I pride myself on strong communication skills and my ability to connect and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
I am currently residing in Niigata City and am open to remote, hybrid, or in-office work arrangements
