I am currently a lead developer at 5.5 Degrees. I have graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Constance, Germany. Afterwards I went to Australia and worked at 5.5 Degrees Pty Ltd for 2.5 years, moved to Japan with my wife on a spouse visa and worked at ドンマイ株式会社 for a year. Now I am again working as a Lead Developer at 5.5 Degrees Pty Ltd as a remote worker on a freelance basis.
My passion is to work on projects which can disrupt the market and make a change. I love being challenged by interesting and difficult problems, which need creativity. In my eyes nothing is truly impossible, it only depends on resources, creativity and time. I like helping a company out wherever I can, extending beyond purely being a developer.

I was mainly responsible for the creation of an accounting software for Lawyers/Barristers called BarBooks. In which I single-handedly created the first version of the application, using Cloud services to sync data across MacOS and iOS, which reached around 300 customers on a yearly subscription at the point of me leaving.
I worked at NTT DATA as part of my Bachelor Thesis, which was about visualisation of 3D data in form of a cross-platform application, which can run on all mobile devices as well as on the web. The goal was to display components of vehicles in 3D on all devices.
The goal in my internship/part-time work here was to develop a mobile application for the SRF, which is the largest broadcasting company in Switzerland. I was tasked to lead the iOS part of the project as the core engineer and teach 2 other developers about the ways. The application became a huge success at that time, reaching over a thousand 5 star ratings and staying the No. 1 mobile app in Switzerland for a few months.
