Flavour Composition and Energy Spectrum of Astrophysical Neutrino at IceCube
There were no clear indication about the sources for high energy astrophysical neutrino detected at IceCube. There is yet a solid theorem that is able to described fully the physics of neutrinos around the PeV regions. For this MPhys project, the flavour composition and energy spectrum of the neutrino were studied. The flavour composition of the astrophysical neutrino were generated using Monte Carlo method where θ12,θ23 and θ13 are gaussian distributed and δ is uniformly distributed. A variations of power laws were fitted into the energy spectrum of the astrophysical neutrino to study the energetic characteristic of the neutrino sources.
