iF DESIGN AWARD
Science Pier a series of exhibitions supporting the City of Science 2005 made use of variable exhibition architecture, eye-catching corporate design and questions from children. Its high visibility and friendly way of talking to people turned the city into a platform for a lively conveyance of what science is all about. A launch campaign, information path and exhibitions revealed in an unconventional way what daily life is like at a research institute. Various creative disciplines flowed into a design concept comprising audiovisual media, exhibits and information design that aimed to make science accessible to the broad public.
