Expiration date. The expiration date on your Health Pass is the most important thing to consider. Unlike some other countries, Guatemala does not use the same system for testing citizens' eligibility to obtain a Health Pass card each year as the ones used in Switzerland and Canada. The Guatemala Health Pass cards are only valid for the month they were issued. Individuals who plan to travel back to Guatemala will need a new card in order to be able use the services for 12 more months. The expiration date will appear on the front of the card.
