What is "mamaro" which has been published in Tokyo Shimbun!?

I am introducing you Trim’s product: "mamaro" which was posted on the 1st page of the Tokyo newspaper.

The smart single-room ‘mamaro’ can be easily installed everywhere and can be used for breastfeeding the baby, changing his diaper, and even for giving him baby-food- in short, it is a fully equipped smart and single room that mothers can use to take care of their babies!

So, after all, why have we decided to build mamaro?

This all started from the problem of nursing rooms in Japan.

Do you have a rough idea of the number of nursing rooms in Japan?

In an age where the nursing room becomes a necessity for the growing number of people becoming parents, for every 100 babies, there is only nursing room.

(According to the graph, there are 18,072 nursing rooms for every 1 million newborn babies.)

97.3% of parents have encountered the difficulty of not finding a facility for nursing and changing the baby’s diaper.

Furthermore:

Accessing the rooms on second level or above has proven to be inconvenient.

Getting the stroller up the stairs to the second level or more, having to wait in line because of the small number of facilities, especially in difficult moments when the baby is crying- this kind of difficulties mothers usually encounter.

Men cannot use the facilities

There also happens to be the case when the father is carrying around the baby and the existing nursing rooms allow only for women to be used, thus making it impossible for men to take care of their baby.

Privacy problems

There is also the problem of privacy as the existing nursing rooms are delimited only by a curtain and there are many public places which do not have nursing rooms.

Dealing with the increasing number of foreigners in 2020

Due to the Olympic Games in 2020, the number of foreigners coming to Japan is expected to increase, thus a solution dealing with the insufficiency of nursing room is necessary.

So this is why we built mamaro!

The installation is very easy!

It can be easily moved around because of its casters.

Use the ‘Baby map’ app for nursing room search and find about the availability of ‘mamaro’ nursing rooms directly from the app!

You can easily check any information provided by the mamaro view screen display while taking care of the baby! Equipped with 3 sensors, the screen prevents inappropriate information to be displayed.
