この記事では、どのような経緯で台湾でマーケティングツールを開発するスタートアップ：クレッシェンドラボに入社することになったのか、果たしてどのような会社なのか、実際に業務をしてみて感じた特徴について紹介していきたいと思います。

Hello everyone, I’m Nae which is a content marketing intern at Crescendo Lab.

In this article, I’d like to share the background of how I started the internship at Crescendo Lab which produce marketing tool in Taiwan and introduce the distinctive features of them that I’ve experienced while working here.

はじめに

2023年9月、私は株式会社クレッシェンド・ラボでの業務を開始しました。

約1年前に日本で勤めていた会社を退職し、学生時代から興味のあった留学/中華文化を探求するため、台湾への渡航を決めました。現在、午前中は台北の語学学校で中国語を勉強し、午後は日本語のコンテンツインターンとして活動をしています。

About me

In September 2023, I joined Crescendo Lab Co., Ltd.

I left a company in Japan a year ago, and, decided to pursue one of my dream, studying abroad. Then decided to come to Taiwan. Currently, in the mornings, I study Mandarin at a language school in Taipei, and in the afternoons, I work as a Japanese content intern.

どうしてクレッシェンドラボに応募したの？

台湾に来てから8ヶ月が経過し、生活や授業にも慣れてきた頃、台湾での仕事を体験してみたいと思い、インターンを探し始めました。

当時、中国語での日常会話はなんとなくこなせるようになってきたものの、ビジネスレベルには程遠かったため、インターナショナルな職場環境であれば、挑戦しやすいのではないかと考えました。

また、DXに課題がある日本市場へ、Martechツールを展開するというミッションが興味深いと思い応募に踏み切りました。

What made you decide to join Crescendo Lab?

After spending 8 months in Taiwan and gradually getting more and more familiar with the life and culture here, I made the decision to explore the possibility of gaining some work experience in Taiwan. Although I could have conversations in Chinese, my proficiency was not quite at a business level yet. That’s why I started looking for internships in an international work environment.

Additionally, I was really interested in the idea of bringing Martech tools to Japan and dealing with the challenges of digital transformation (DX) in Japanese market really fascinated me. It motivated me to apply for the position.

’高性能ノートパソコンの提供’や’おやつ食べ放題’…求人票に記載されている情報は確かに魅力的ですが、入社してみて私が実際に感じた特徴を紹介します。

柔軟なワークスタイル

まず特徴として、圧倒的に自由度の高い職場です。

大まかな就業時間は決まっていますが、ある程度自由に出勤することができます。私の場合、午前中は学校に通っているため、午後に出勤し、1日4時間作業をします。ミーティングがある日は学校からそのまま直接向かったり、特に急ぎのタスクがない日はゆっくり昼食を食べてから出社したりと、融通の利く環境だからこそ、いちインターンであっても柔軟に働くことができています。

また、メンター制度が採用されており、業務内容やタスクの期日については調整しながら進めることができます。自由度が高く、それぞれの場所で働きながらも、定期的にオンライン（もしくはオフラインで）ミーティングの時間を設けるため、適宜相談しながら業務を進めることができます。

コミュニケーションを取れる機会が多い

クレッシェンドラボでは、人事部主催のもと様々な活動が定期的に行われています。参加条件は招待されたら参加ボタンを押すだけ。実際に、チームビルディングへの補助は四半期ごと、ハッピーアワーは毎月、と頻繁にコミュニケーションを取る機会があります。様々な人と話す機会があるため、実際に業務上関わりがない人とも、すぐに打ち解けることができました。

How is the work environment?

While the offerings of ‘high-profile MAC laptop’ and ‘unlimited snacks bar’ listed in the job description are indeed attractive, then let me share what I actually experienced after joining the company.

Flexibility

The work-style here compared to regular positions, a significantly flexible.

Firstly, while working hours are specified, there is some room for flexibility in terms of time to work. In my case, I go school in the morning, so I come to work in the afternoon, working for four hours per a day. On days with meetings, I come straight from school, and on days with no urgent tasks, I come in after a relaxed lunch. The flexible environment allows me, as an intern, to work with adaptability.

Furthermore, there is a mentorship system allowing flexibility in managing tasks and deadlines. The high degree of autonomy enables us to work from various locations, while still having regular online (or offline) meetings keep me engaging.

Communication

At Crescendo Lab, various activities are regularly organized by People team. The participation process is as simple as pressing the “Join” button when invited. In practice, there are opportunities for team building compensations every quarter and a monthly happy hour, providing frequent chances for communication. With various occasions to engage with different people, I found it easy to quickly establish rapport even with those I didn’t have direct work interactions with.

どんな時にやりがいを感じる？

普段の業務内容としては、ウェブサイト・ブログの執筆をしたり、TikTokアカウントの運営をしたりと、主に日本市場向けのコンテンツを作成をしています。

どのようなコンテンツが読者にとって有益かを考えたり、ふとした会話からアイデアに繋がって、コンテンツを生み出したりと、自分が創作したものが人の目に触れて何かのきっかけになりうるということにいま一番やりがいを感じています。

現在はまだ執筆記事が少なく、「Step1:コンテンツを作成する」の段階にいるため、今後「Step2:コンテンツを最適化する」の段階でどれくらいの改善値を得られるのか、とても期待しています。

次の記事では、どのような困難に直面したのか、またどのように解決したのか等、さらなる体験談をご紹介できるよう精進して参りたいです。

How is the work? When do you feel accomplishment?

In my daily tasks, I write blog articles, and have managing our TikTok account, mainly creating content for Japanese market. What really lights me up is brainstorming what kind of content would be helpful for our readers. Sometimes, ideas spark from casual chats, and turning those into contents that could be a trigger for someone is what I find most rewarding.

Right now, I’ve wrote few articles, and I’m still in the early phase which is “Step 1: Create Content”. I’m super excited to see how much I can improve in the next stage, “Step 2: Optimize Content.”

I’m eager to share more stories, like the challenges I’ve faced and how I’ve tackled them. I’m stepping up our game and delivering even more engaging content in the upcoming posts.
