You Drive. We Guide. What Makes Radish Ride Different?

What if sightseeing in Japan felt less like following a tour bus and more like setting off on a little adventure?

That is the idea behind Radish Ride.

A guided self-drive experience

Our guests drive their own compact, open-top electric vehicles, following a lead guide along scenic roads around Miura.

Each vehicle is designed for one driver. Guests do not ride as passengers in someone else's vehicle.

The route takes us through the landscapes that make this area special: rural roads, vegetable fields, coastal scenery and local viewpoints.

Our job is to help guests enjoy the journey while keeping safety and consideration for the local community at the centre of everything we do.

What does a guide actually do?

Guiding is about much more than knowing the route.

You help guests feel welcome before the tour begins. You explain the experience, support them through the preparations, lead the group responsibly and help them enjoy the stops along the way.

You may also help guests take photos, share local insights and make sure everyone understands the instructions.

The aim is to create an experience that feels exciting, friendly and well organised.

Safety comes first

Driving on public roads is a serious responsibility.

Our team must follow operating procedures, communicate clearly and lead tours in a way that respects traffic rules, other road users and residents.

Driving duties are only available to people who hold the appropriate valid licence for the vehicle and meet all applicable Japanese requirements.

An international visitor's eligibility cannot be assumed simply because they have a foreign driving licence or a working-holiday visa.
