Why Citymapper?
Because you are lost. Or if you are not now you may be later...
We believe that you should have all (preferably real-time) data about using your city readily available on your smartphone, with the best design possible, personalised to you, so that you focus on experiencing your city rather than trying to survive it.
Why green?
Because green is cool, clean, healthy, natural, fresh etc, the colour you wish the city was. Plus every other app and website is blue. Blue is soo boooring. Did you ever think what would happen if we ran out of blue? The whole internet would fall apart! Did you ever think about that?!

We believe navigating cities is a utility, so we’ve built tools and widgets that any app or website can integrate to help serve its users.

We include data from many others including Google, Apple and OpenStreetMaps, Foursquare and Yelp, Uber and Hailo, Car2Go and Autolib, and more.
How we do
We're a small dedicated team, with HQ somewhere in London, and some based around the cities of the world, with backgrounds in transport, Google, startups, apps, design, investing and academia.
We're motivated by solving hard fundamental everyday problems that improve the quality of people's lives. We like simplifying complexity, reinventing user experience, working with data, shipping fast, and humanising a serious space.
