I am an honours year student at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and will be graduating in May 2019.
My course of study has allowed me to develop my critical thinking skills, ability to write and passion for social justice.
As someone who is passionate about social justice, I hope to one day contribute to the alleviation of the global refugee crisis, in whatever little ways possible. I am also interested in how the arts and technology relate to each other. In particular, I am highly interested in the topic of ethical emerging/new technologies.
I also hope to try as many things as possible -- even things outside my scope of study. As much as I am passionate about global issues, politics and writing, I am also highly interested in web design and development. Though I am no Computer Science student, I have been taking steps to further my interest, for instance by enrolling myself in online courses on freeCodeCamp (for web development) and Google Digital Garage (for Google Analytics).
Finally, I hope to be able to marry my interests: to be able to analyse, write and communicate my ideas creatively.
