Designed Object Velocity Adaptive Camera Shutter Time Camera Sensor for Suppression of Motion Blur. Developed a speed determination algorithm based on the movement of the object’s first and second order of moment and realized it at circuit level for Real time adaptation. Blur reduction by a factor of five was achieved in experiments performed with the proposed algorithm.

Text Detection And Recognition In Natural Scene Images
Employed Edge-Enhanced Maximally Stable Extremal Regions coupled with Stroke Width Transformation. Achieved Text Localization in 0.82 second for image resolution of 720x480 pixels on a 2GHz processor. Designed a novel OCR method based on Moment Based Feature Extraction and achieved 76% accuracy.
