Swaggatrons™ is an animated series about “swag culture”, a recent popular phenomena trending in today’s pop media. “Swag culture”, projects a lifestyle which often mimics traditional hip hop culture but is focused primarily on the superficial aspects (clothes, jewelry, reputation, etc). This project represents that power struggle between old school hip hop and new age swag pop, and is focused around current topics in the music industry as well as corporate america, politics and other areas of today’s pop culture. As a satire of this “swag culture”, instead of taking a critical direction, we have made it appealing by taking this swag concept and making it more humorous, outrageous and bizarre with a colorful cast of unique characters that younger and more mature audiences can enjoy.
