Realistically, the most cost-effective way is to make up teams leaded by excellent key persons. It requires strong training from the staff in Japan to the Vietnamese team. While teaching Vietnamese engineers, we will carry out projects on OJT, give experience and train them as a team. Through this process, they will learn software development processes and quality concepts that are suitable for Japan. The careful point is not to push the Japanese way, but to assemble the process with considering the Vietnamese way.

2. Close communication and trusting relationship

The importance of communication is a common issue not only for laboratory-type development, but also for offshore development. However, the communication does not mean business contact like regular meetings or reports, but face-to-face communication through on-site invitations and business trips to Vietnam. Close Communication with Vietnamese members and talking about casual topics other than business has helped to build valuable bond that cannot be build through only business meetings.
