Late in 2016, I was working as a business developer and heard the word "data science" for the first time, which changed my life. I started learning with the basics of python and machine learning in my free time. Most of my starting journey was online courses, articles, videos, small sample projects, and more. After some time, I felt that I am stuck at one point and ain't progressing anymore then I decided to go for a master's degree where my research theme would be machine learning.
Fast forward, I have finished my MS at the University of Tsukuba as a JICA scholar. And I have started my Ph.D. I have been doing research in NLP but don't limit myself only to NLP. I also work on real-world industry projects as an AI Engineer at ad-dice(mostly related to computer vision).
It's been a good ride and I am really enjoying it.
Thanks for reading.
Machine Learning, AI and Data Analytics is all I am looking for.
Along with attending courses like "Introduction to Informatics, Research Methods, Information Seeking and Retrieval, and Speech and Audio Processing", I have been actively involved in machine learning research activities. I started with Social Media Analytics(Twitter) using topic modeling algorithms(LDA and DTM). Now I am trying to solve the fragmentation issues when LDA and DTM are compared.
