Why we do

When I decided I wanted to start my own company, I had already experienced the ups and downs of IT staffing and outsourced services in the US and Japan for over 12 years in sales and management positions. I was very "comfortable" with the success and discretion I had, but I was confident that I could be more successful if I could create my own strategy, have the final say, and run the business the way I wanted. I wanted to start a company that would 1) serve job seekers, 2) exceed client expectations, and 3) provide a unique and fun work environment for employees. With this in mind, Skillhouse was born.

How we do

There are over 30 people in the company, the members are of various nationalities and all are very friendly. As the president is American, team building is very important to us, and we have a company-wide lunch party or sports event at least once a month. One of the reasons for this is that we have a four-team division of labor system, which is different from other recruitment agencies. Each team works together to achieve the goal of providing job seekers with the best employment opportunities and our clients with the talent they need.

If you have at least five (5) years of business to business sales experience in the Japanese market, specifically in the areas of business development, account management and account expansion, you are encouraged to apply. Position Details You will be expected to perform many duties, mainly focused on: · New client business development · Account management and expansion · Service delivery management The ideal candidate should be skilled at building and maintaining relationships with clients and work to provide exceptional customer service to clients. The sales executive will be selling IT temporary, IT contract & IT permanent staffing services as well as IT outsourcing services to companies in Japan. A full and detailed training program is provided to ensure long term career growth and success. Requirements · At least five (5) years of successful sales experience in Japan · Excellent account management skills · A positive, outgoing and energetic personality · Strong communications skills – verbal and written · Strong team working skills · Strong business development skills NOTE: Only candidates currently living in Japan with valid working visa will be considered.
