Our team is a small growing team of less than 10 people and 4 different nationalities. We work on emerging technologies for hospitality industry and utilize the latest technologies including cloud computing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data and IoT. Working environment is modern and well fitted for a highly skilled engineer who enjoys working on a wide range of latest technologies. We strive to combine the best sides of both start up like culture and the traditional Japanese way of business. Work contains cross division collaboration and working with other Japanese companies so knowledge of Japanese is required.

Your main responsibility is to design, develop and maintain data pipelines from web scraping to AI model development to API deployment utilizing cloud infrastructure and serverless architecture when possible. Depending on your interests, you can also work and improve your skills in data science, AI model development, cloud architecture, DevOps, serverless computing, IoT, mobile development etc. We're also looking for a solid software developer / engineer with cloud computing experience to join our growing team. Required experience - Working with large data sets. - Data manipulation & analysis frameworks (for example Pandas). - Database skills, SQL, NoSQL. - Data pipelines, Data warehousing, ETL. - Japanese skills (N2 or above). - Good coding skills in JavaScript or Python. - +4 years of coding experience. - Cloud computing knowledge/experience (AWS preferred). We also appreciate: -Hands-on AI/ML/NLP experience. -General software engineering experience. -Statistics & Data Analysis skills. -English skills. -Education from the highly quantitative field (Applied mathematics, Computer science, Physics etc.). -Experience using BI tools (Quicksight, Tableau). -Spark, Scala, distributed data framework experience. -Web mining experience. -Front-end development experience, API deployment. -Predictive modeling skills. You don’t need to be expert in everything, but we hope you bring in some expertise to the team and have the capability to learn the other skills.
