Why we do

We were quick to realize that the iPad that Steve Jobs introduced to the world in 2010 would create a whole new category of enterprise software. Pitcher was founded in 2011 to improve the lives of employees in the field, letting them achieve better results with a mobile solution they actually love using. In Japan, most sales conversations are still being done with the help of printed presentations. The time is right for Japanese enterprises to make mobile sales enablement a core part of their digital transformation. Existing customers in Japan can showcase how using Pitcher sets them apart from their competitors and drives their sales.

How we do

We are a micro-multinational, our users are in over 130+ countries and our team of 50 employees is spread across multiple continents in 10 different offices. To make this setup work, every employee has a high degree of freedom to achieve their objectives. We believe in self motivation and entrepreneurship as key drivers of success at Pitcher. Technologically our collaboration internally and with customers is covered by state-of-the-art tools such as Skype, Salesforce, Basecamp or Zendesk. Emails are never used for internal communication for example.

As a new team member

We are looking for an experienced, technical professional keen on building our Solution Center for the JAPAC region and contributing to the success of our Japanese operations. You will be based out of our Tokyo office with travel expectations of up to 40% and will be working closely with both the Business Development as well as Engineering Team at Pitcher. This is a versatile role involving everything from technical pre-sales to managing project implementations and support across a number of core industries. The ideal candidate will have gained prior experience working as a solution/sales engineer preferably in the CRM space and have strong communication skills in order to work with project managers from different areas within the customers business.
