Job Responsibilities • Serve as the main point of contact for vendors and clients in the region. • Manage the end-to-end process of vendor and client payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, optimising terms and conditions. • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including expense tracking and reconciliation. • Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining operational efficiency. • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. • Optimise procurement processes and manage inventory levels. • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the supply chain. • Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless operations. • Act as a liaison between the Japan office and the global headquarters, providing regular updates and reports. • Collaborate with the HR team to streamline and execute onboarding processes for new employees in Japan. • Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with local regulations in Japan. • Assist in employee relations and engagement initiatives. Qualifications and Skills required • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. • Proven experience in operations, or a similar role, preferably in a multinational company. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Strong adaptability and flexibility skills to accommodate dynamic work environment, adjusting plans, expectations, and actions accordingly to the changing situation. • Open mindset to embrace to new ideas, feedback, and perspectives, and willingness to try new things and experiment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. • Proficiency in both English and Japanese (written and spoken).
